Join Us for a Farm Tour!

Want to meet, pet, learn about, and get some seriously awesome selfies with our farm friends?!

Now’s your chance – we’re hosting farm tours!

On your tour you’ll get to meet:

  • Mini Goats (and baby goats in the late spring!)
  • Chickens
  • Ducks
  • Sheep (and lambs!)
  • And a Giant Tortoise!

All the farm animals are tame and people friendly. They love having guests, getting petted, and posing for pictures.

Farm tours are a perfect way to get your children out in nature while also learning about these all these amazing critters.

At Serenity Yoga Farm we do everything holistically and organically when possible and we love educating kids about animal care and unusual animal facts and educating adults about holistic practices, homesteading, and self-sufficiency.

Most animals on our farm serve a purpose, such as providing us with eggs, dairy, or meat, pulling carts, or packing supplies for hikes. Some are “just” pets. All are very friendly and curious about new visitors. The goats will come over for pets and brushing and the piggies will likely flop down at your feet for belly rubs. And everyone loves posing for pictures so make sure you bring your camera!

About the Tours:

The tours we give are all private (per carload/family). All payments for tours go to animal care and expansion of animal areas. We have a few projects in the works all the time so you can see what we’re up to and what’s next for the farm.

You will have about an hour (depending on weather and attention span of children) to see, play with, and learn about the animals on our farmstead. We have mini goats, pigs, chickens (and often baby chicks!), ducks, sheep, and two giant tortoises!

In general tours are for up to six people for an hour to an hour and a half depending on heat and children’s attention spans. We welcome larger families, however we usually need a second tour guide to help out.

If you’d like a tour for more than six people, inquire about availability by emailing info@serenityyogatx.com

Serenity Yoga Farm is located in Lockhart, Texas which is about 40 minutes outside of Austin, TX and about 75 minutes from San Antonio. The exact address and directions are given once your booking is confirmed.

(Lockhart is the barbecue capital of Texas and is a very sweet up-and-coming town!)

Book Your Tour:

Please click the link below to book your tour. Tour tickets are $30 per family of up to three people and an extra $10 per person thereafter with a max of six people (please inquire first before booking if you have a larger family or group and we can work something out).

If you would like to book a tour for a larger group, we’re happy to have you but we do need to make sure we have a second tour guide available. Please email us at info@serenityyogatx.com for availability.

We schedule tours most days and have both morning and evening time slots.

About Us:

We moved to our 20 acre farmstead in 2018 so we could become more self-sufficient. It’s our dream to have more control over what goes into our food and how our food is treated along the way. All our animals are given lots of love regardless if they’ve become beloved pets or if they’re destined for the dinner table. We believe all our animals should be given the best life possible and that includes using holistic practices that maintain good health and well-being.

We’ve learned a lot over the past few years and we’ve recently decided to open up our farm to families who are interested in learning about farm animals, homesteading, or holistic animal care. We have a big vision and plans to expand to include new pastures, barns, gardens, and a tiny home village. We’re not 100% “there” yet, but we’re happy to share with you what we’ve learned and give you a taste of farmstead life.
